Focal Point!

This is a photo by Vee Speers. In this photograph the main focal point of the whole picture would probably be the rifle in his hands, as it seems like the same height as him and he small soo the rifle sticks out more than anything with his pasty white skin. As you look at the rifle and start looking behind it you kind of notice all of the little weapons he is carrying but your eyes always look bak to the rifle in his hands. After a little while you also notice he is wearing a helmet on his head and can't help thinking there's a story behind the boy ( i think there's one).

A focal point is important for many reasons. One of the main ones is that the viewers' eyes needs a resting place; they need something of interest to focus on or they will just skim over the picture and then move on to the next one. http://www.photography-tips-and-techniques.com/landscape-focal-point.html
